EE Times has launched Silicon 100, Class of 2020. INT Tech was selected as one of the Silicon 100!

EE Times has launched Silicon 100, Class of 2020. INT Tech was selected as one of the Silicon 100 and the only one company in Taiwan which was selected.

Every year (or so) we publish a list of electronics and semiconductor startups that grabbed our attention during the preceding year. This is our 20th list, and this time we’re introducing a big change. When we launched the feature in 2004 it was called the Silicon 60, and we’ve listed 60 companies in every revision since — until this one. Welcome to the new Silicon 100.

This inaugural edition of the Silicon 100 is, perhaps unsurprisingly, heavily studded with startups involved in AI or machine-learning, including both fabless chip companies and IP licensors, but the range of disciplines this year is impressive. Here’s a partial list:

  • AI / neural networks / machine learning
  • semiconductor manufacturing
  • materials research (Si, GaN, SiC, etc.)
  • analog ICs
  • SoCs
  • memory ICs
  • FPGAs
  • power ICs
  • energy harvesting
  • signal processing
  • wireless chips
  • Automotive electronics
  • IoT technologies
  • sensors
  • MEMS

Also, AspenCore Asia tracks China’s fabless semiconductor companies annually. This year, for the first time, we are publishing our Asia Pacific team’s findings as part of our Silicon 100 package.
